On the occasion of World Humanity Day, the World Human Rights Organization (WHRO), an organization dedicated to the service of humanity, organized a special seminar at the India International Centre in Delhi. The subject of the seminar was, "Discussion on the Status, Concerns, and Solutions for Human Rights Worldwide."
the event honored judges, police officers, Padma Shri awardees, former DIGs and Additional DGPs from organizations like BSF and CRPF, and individuals associated with education, health, and various sectors who are working for, or have retired after working for, the service of humanity and the protection and awareness of human rights.
Harsh Malhotra, Transport Minister of the Government of India, WAS present as Chief Guests. Embodying the relevance of World Human Rights Day, the event honored the parents of martyrs, and personalities from the fields of sports, government services, religion, and health, among others, with the Global Humanity and Peace Award 2025.
Organizers Yograj Sharma and Vijay Malik reiterated that the seminar organized for human rights awareness was titled 'The Status of Human Rights Worldwide.' In addition, special individuals from various fields who serve humanity were honored. Co-organizer Priyank Gupta mentioned that the program saw the distribution of wheelchairs to some differently-abled individuals and the mother of martyr Mahesh Trikha was specially honored.
In addition to India, several guests from European countries were present at the event, including representatives from Norway, Holland (Netherlands), and Belgium.
It is worth noting that the World Human Rights Organization is not only registered with the Government of India but is also registered with the Government of Belgium in Europe and is affiliated with the Civil Society NGO Branch of the United Nations. The main objective of this organization and this program is to raise awareness for human rights and help ensure that the benefits of government-run human rights-related schemes reach the common people.
